frank n' furter

frankfurt is one of those cities that dubs itself as a "business city" -- which seems to be the term used by boring cities to excuse the fact that there's not a whole bunch of interesting things to see and do there. i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm sure there's a lot of business going on in these business cities, i don't think anyone's lying to me...but would it kill them to have something fun going on as well as business?

which isn't to say that Frankfurt isn't at least pretty, and i certainly had a nice time there...after living in the desert for over a year now, i'll always appreciate a city that has parks, and trees, and plants, and well, anything green in amongst the roads and buildings!

so while Frankfurt isn't jumping to the top of my list of "100 Places You Must See!" and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a holiday, there's no denying its charm, and obviously i'm thankful for being able to add it to the list of cities that i've visited.

so, not really any adventures to be had by me, just a nice uneventful stroll around the city. which wasn't gonna stop me taking photos:
(well, i did try unsuccessfully to kick a pigeon...and also failed at finding a fridge magent for the collection...it seems boring business cities don't find themselves worthy of having mementos!

stay tuned, next week: natalie and myself on our ITALIAN HOLIDAY!!!

let the good times roll!!
