good ol' kuala lumpur, malaysia!!!

the home of Royal Selangor, The Twin Towers, and the delicious laksa!


this world continues to fascinate me, i'm continuously overwhelmed with what i see as i scoot about the planet


my adventures in kuala lumpur:
walk around exploring at 12:30 at night, as the humidity makes your shirt stick to your back . watch fireworks launch of skyscrapers -- (i still have no idea what we were celebrating) . queue for hours (with what seems to be the entire population of Malaysia) for a ticket to the SkyBridge that connects the two Twin Towers . when you get up to the SkyBridge, race around doing cartwheels and dodging "lasers", pretending that you're Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Entrapment" -- (ok, so that's not true, i didn't do that, but i SHOULD have done that) . eat a malaysian laksa, in malaysia . ride the monorail (with what seems to be the entire population of Malaysia) to Bukit Bintang to explore the shopping malls and hawkers markets . go to a popular nightclub, watch the podium dances and have difficulty in deciding if they're utterly retarded or extremely talented . get a massage at a massage parlour where all the therapists are blind -- (still trying to work out if that's sheer genius or sheer exploitation!) . discover pre-mixed Milo in a can -- don't waste your time, its awful! . speak to an old malaysian couple who i swear are trying to con me, but not mind because they're trying to con me IN KUALA LUMPUR!!!
